I started very early in graphic design, in high school, and it did not take me long to get my first job, working for a local newspaper. I haven't looked back since.
I was born, raised and educated in Virginia, and I moved to Georgia in 2003 to further my career. Over the last 18+ years, I've worked for numerous companies in a wide variety of environments, held a number of titles, handled many brands, and worked in various aspects of the design industry. It's through this journey that I learned that design matters everywhere, because there's nothing that can't be made more effective with some design behind it.
Ultimately, my goal at the end of every day is that I want to do work that I can be proud of. Titles, awards and accolades are nice and all, but I feel that if I can personally get behind the work I produce, then the nice things tend to take care of themselves.
Outside of what I do for a living, I am an avid traveler, enjoy running and exercise, photography and have a variety of eclectic interests. I was raised on comics, video games and professional wrestling and the only difference now is that I can occasionally afford to buy all the useless things I wished I could get as a kid.
